Shri Muk Badhir Seva Trust was established with the noble purpose of helping the children who have got voice in their hands i.e. they are deaf and dumb. It serves those children without charging any fees and without discrimination on the basis of caste or class. . The institute understands that gainful employment plays an essential part in the life of a person because it gives him status and binds him to the society. In this institute they are given education, vocational training and are taught life values.It helps them to be capable to get a job or become a self-employed person.
Organisation’s History :
Shri Muk Badhir Seva Trust was established in year 2000 by Mangaldas Mohanlal Mehta. It initiated with classes up to 4th and has now progressed up to class 10th. In year 2005, a building was donated by Amreli Jilla Vidhyasabha and hence the institution shifted to this new building which had ample space for school, hostel, playground and Mess. Eventually, aid from local people residing in foreign countries was being received through contacts.
Management :
The trust was initially managed by the establishers. But now it is being managed by five mangers. Whenever the trust faces a financial crisis the same is fulfilled and supported immediately by the trust board and donators. The staff and teachers are being appointed as per the selection criteria provided by the trust board. The necessary changes pertaining to education, Extra-curricular activities, appointment of teachers and non-teaching staff and meetings of the trust board are arranged time to time.
