The school has standards up to class 7th and the syllabus approved by the State Education Board is taught. It uses Computer software, various educational instruments, Maps, tape recorder, television and smart boards for teaching purposes. Besides academic knowledge, the students are provided general knowledge, spiritual knowledge and personality development knowledge.
It is a very important medium for every deaf and dumb person. It plays an important role for the progress of the children who have a hearing aid or doesn’t have a hearing aid. The institute checks the hearing loss or deafness level of every child which is followed up with guidance, fitting and digital hearing aid programming. Computerized speech room based computerized speech therapy is given which makes helps in development of deaf and dumb children’s speech and language.Dr.Speech digital program and BTE machine speech room is also facilitated.
The students of this institute are being given vocational training through workshops which helps them in developing different skills. Various courses like Computer Education Department, Stitching, Printing, Beauty treatments, repairing of home appliances, Embroidery work, etc are being taught to these students.This in turn benefits the students a lot as it would help them to have a better livelihood.
Various Games, general knowledge test, memory test, lemon spoon race, sag race, indoor and outdoor games, sports competition(at school ,district and state level), educational tour, etc are organised with active participation by students.Cultural programs are arranged every august which includes events like Yoga, drama, Award ceremony, Information and guidance and encouraging the students.Various religious and national festivals are also celebrated.
